Holiday time rolling around again! 

Veteran's Day

It is Veteran's Day and so we remember to thank and honor those who are serving and have served in our military.  So say Thank-you to a Veteran today.  It matters.

back again and it is all about the shoes

I love this photo, for me it speaks on so many levels.  The little girl on the bride's lap with her sparkly shoes.  Dreams, hopes and fairytales come true, captured in a moment.
A girl can never go wrong with red sparkly shoes, Dorothy knew it, the witch knew it, we all know it.  It is all about the shoes.

Another experiment. These images are making January bearable. I have never liked January much. Winter... well, it's Winter and January... well, it's January. It is alternating between periods of sun and blustery wind and snow today. Extremely cold today also. Not loving it, snow is pretty though.

More Experimenting (thanks, Mary!)

I played with broken windshield glass and my camera today. I didn't get tutorial results but am happy with the abstract painting nature of the photos I was able to produce. The right side of the landscape photo is a little darker than I would like but it kind of works. It was great to play around doing something new.
